Hi Everyone,
It was so wonderful to be back in the Treasure Valley even for a short while last weekend. Thank you to everyone who came to Hailey's baptism. It meant so much to her to have everyone there. She is so excited about the gospel and living it.
Yesterday there was more grass than snow in my yard and this morning to my horror and dismay it was SNOWING and yet again no ground it to be seen...... I have never been one to have my mood affected by weather but I have to say our new climate is testing me.
The girls are busy. Andrea had her first volleyball game last Saturday in Rigby. Next week she has an orchestra concert. She has totally inherited the Johnson music gene. It is so fun to watch her create her own songs and play popular songs by ear. She has taught herself to play the viola and can play that by ear also. She is working on Tim's guitar now. She is sooo fun. Hailey is doing great with her violin. She is all girl and must have a steady flow of
music in her mind because she always has some little dance going on.
Julia loves the piano. The poor girl comes home at least once a week sad because another little boy that is her friend says that he has a crush on her. She is sad because this new information disgusts her and she can't be their friend anymore. I haven't told her that this is only the beginning. This week Ella and I picked out a Dora potty chair and Tinkerbell panties so we shall see how that goes... I just love my girls!
Tim is doing great. For his birthday we bought a motorcycle that is
a street legal dirt bike. He has been riding it to work everyday
and the poor guy just freezes but he loves it. The other morning he was covered in frost when he got to work. This week he was invited to speak at a conference in Houston in October. He has spoke the last few years at different conferences but this is his first invitation so he is becoming well known among the geophysics community and they want to hear from him...
I hope everyone has a great week. Think sunny thoughts.....
Love Amy

Amazing to hear about your girls. Just yesterday they were toddlers in my living room. . . they're beautiful and so grown up.
We'd like to come see you guys in a couple of weeks, if you're up for it. I'll email you.
